On March 16, 2003,twenty-five hikers, including 15 ESUJ members and 10 non-
 japanese, gathered at JR Tachikawa Station at 10:00 am and took train to Hinata-
 wada, from where Narure Ramble started. The main spots that they visited while
 strolling along under the plum blossom were Ume Park, Kaede Bridge, Sawanoi-en,
 Kanzashi Museum and Gyokudo Art Museum.
