ESUJ Debate 2009
English Debate Competition for Adults
The English-Speaking Union of Japan (ESUJ) will be holding the eighth parliamentary-style debate competition for Shakaijin (participants other than students). People who understand the importance of being able to communicate in English as a social stratagem are turning out for this “intelligent” holiday event.
This year, 14 teams will join the competition. Participants will consist of businessmen and businesswomen, school teachers of English, and non-Japanese as well, including first-timers. Enthusiastic debate by adults must be very enjoyable and exciting!
This event is open to the public. Please come! (free of charge; no need to apply)
