Participants Wanted!
| The English-Speaking Union of Japan (ESUJ) will be holding the eighth parliamentary-style debate competition for participants other than students on Saturday, 20th June. The Debate is intended to be an enjoyable opportunity for working persons and adults to exercise their English-language skills of persuasion. We hope you will seize this chance to demonstrate your fighting spirit. |

| Qualification for application: |
Adults other than university students (including post graduate)
Each two-person team must include at least one Japanese debater.
(Members of the winning team for ESUJ Debate 2008 are ineligible.)

Participation fee: ESUJ Member ¥2,000 Non-member ¥4,000
(¥4,000 - ¥8,000/team, depending on number of ESUJ members) |

| Number of teams participating: About 12 two-person teams |
| (ESUJ members will be given priority if applications exceed 12 teams. ESUJ debate committee will decide the teams to participate.) |
