Christmas Party

The ESUJ Christmas Party was held on December 18 in the media room of the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan (FCCJ). Following Chairman Hanabusa's welcoming speech and British Embassy Minister Stuart Jack's toast, partygoers enjoyed conversation around a buffet dinner in a warm atmosphere of geniality. Regular supporters of ESUJ activities and members who took time out to attend the party at this busy time of year plus guests participating for the first time swelled the group to 119 persons. The lively delightful evening included a performance of bilingual ventriloquism by "Kougyoku" Ikeda, together with "Apple" Chan, and an English quiz with presents from the ESUJ Management Committee, providing an appropriate final note to a busy and varied year for ESUJ. (We are pleased to report this year there was no shortage of food!!)
