ESUJ Lecture (in English)
Aiming at Sustainable Society
Lecture by Prof. Motoyuki Suzuki Formerly Vice Rector of
UN University
All our earth's resources are limited to "Spaceship Planet
Earth". Co-existence with Mother Earth through sustainable
development is a serious challenge facing us today. To achieve
this goal, the United Nations University is advocating "Zero
Emissions". In order to better understand what Zero Emissions
will mean, we have invited Professor Motoyuki Suzuki, leader
of research into this topic, to speak to us. It is a valuable
opportunity to hear a world specialist active in this field.
Isn't this a fine way to get together on an autumn evening,
to consider the future of our earth?
