Lecture by
Mr. Shijuro Ogata
Former Vice Governor of the Japan Development Bank

Mr. Ogata, a friend of many Western opinion leaders, is one of the most renowned cosmopolitans. He calls himself "intellectual YAJIUMA (curiosity seeker)". With his wide range of international knowledge and personal relationships from around the globe, his messages dispatched from symposiums and lecture podiums have received world-wide applause and respect. This time, Mr. Ogata will tell us about his long association with the English language, with many an interesting anecdote drawn from his experiences.

OGATA Shijuro
Born in 1927 in Tokyo. Graduated from Tokyo University and joined the Bank of Japan in 1950. Board of Director of BOJ, the Vice Governor of the Japan Development Bank. Assumed many posts of director of various companies outside and inside Japan. Vice Chairman of Japan-American. Society. Among his publications: "Yen and BOJ."
