ESUJ New Year's Lecture

Scotland and its National Poet Robert Burns

Lecture by Mr. Gary McGregor
Country Manager Japan, Lloyds TSB Bank plc

It is said that the two most-frequently-sung songs in the world are “Happy Birthday to You” and “Auld Lang Syne”. Robert Burns who wrote this Auld Lang Syne and much other beautiful poetry was born and lived in Scotland in the 18th century. A genuine Scots gentleman Mr. McGregor will talk about his most favorite poet Burns and his birth place Scotland. What is your image of Scotland, Whisky, Bagpipes, Golf or Nessie of Loch Ness?

Please join our New Years' special lecture in authentic Scottish accent on “Burns night” (Scottish National Celebration in commemoration of this Great Poet). Happy Birthday Dear Mr. Burns!
