This year ESUJ invites you to its fifth May Evening
Gala, Music Around the World. Starting with America, music from various
countries awaits you in the form of the lovely soprano singing voice
of Masako Ueno and the piano arrangements of Shigeo Suzuki. We hope
you will join us for this evening of delicious buffet food, a view
of the beautiful gardens of Meiji Kinenkan, and conversation with
friends from around the world.

Masako Ueno (soprano)
Graduate of the Kunitachi College of Music. Appeared in NHK Television's
"Sharps and Flats". Received individual instruction and diploma from
Mario DelMonaco in 1982. Numerous public appearances, including with
the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Has appeared in concert and on the radio
in Hawaii. Leads the Mikki Junior Chorus.
Shigeo Suzuki (composer)
Graduate of the Kunitachi College of Music. A concert pianist and composer,
Shigeo Suzuki had a big hit with "Samba no Samba" on NHK Television's
"(Sing along) With Mama".
