Enjoy a spring evening listening to the delightful rhythms of the Tsunekazu Matsudaira Dixieland All Stars* while conversing with friends and guests and viewing the beautiful Japanese garden of the Meiji Kinenkan.

***Tsunekazu Matsudaira Dixieland All Stars***

Special Guest Benkey Sonoda@(Trombone)
A member of the gDixie Kingsh, the most famous Dixieland band in Japan. Benkey is the son of the late Ken-ichi Sonoda, the founder and long-time leader of the Dixie Kings. He also leads his own group, the F-Benks.

Masashi Takamoto (Trumpet)
As a popular trad-jazz specialist since the college days, Takamoto participates in several Dixie style bands such as the Doctor Dixie Saints and Grandpafs Ragtime Band.

Tsunekazu Matsudaira (Clarinet)
A globe-trotting businessman turned jazzman; Matsudaira performs around 10 gigs every month. Visiting Professor of Waseda University and a Councilor of ESUJ.

Kaori Ono (Piano)
An alumna of the renowned New Orleans Jazz Club of Waseda University, specializing in gstride-styleh piano. Kaori is very popular at various Jazz clubs in Tokyo.

Hiroaki Fukuzawa@(Bass)
Another executive turned jazz player, Fukuzawa is a regular member of trad-jazz groups such as the Doctor Dixie Saints and the Surfside Stomp.

Yuji Kobayashi (Drums)
One of the top satellite engineers in Japan. Kobayashi has been a fellow member of the gSwing Unlimitedh with Matsudaira and is well-known for his dynamic solos and neat brush work.
